SOBA NOODLE BUDDHA BOWL, WITH PANKO CRUSTED TOFU & SALAD VEGETABLES (gf)

A similar salad - no egg and made with deliciously crispy tofu!

Suitable for 9 – 16 year olds
(2 hr Workshop) $55

You will make:

  • Soba Noodle Buddha Bowl

  • Panko Crusted Tofu

  • Almond Satay Sauce

 You will learn to:     

  • Read a recipe

  • Use a knife safely to chop vegetables

  • Cook soba noodles

  • Recognise & prepare salad vegetables, including edamame, carrot & cabbage for buddha bowl

  • Cut, marinate, “bread” and bake to create delicious crispy tofu

  • Measure ingredients & make almond satay sauce

  • Identify key safety aspects around the kitchen

  • Follow instructions and work as a team


All classes are held in Jane’s Kitchen, Clayfield and will be run to a Covid Safe Plan.

If a child is keen to participate but is unavailable for the workshop advertised, subject to workshop availability, they can join the same workshop on another day.
