BREAKFAST SALAD WITH HALOUMI, EGG & SMASHED AVOCADO

Suitable for 9 – 16 year olds
(2 hr Workshop) $55

You will make:

  • Breakfast Salad, with haloumi, egg, smashed avocado & quinoa (who says children can’t make a delicious salad for breakfast - this combination could easily be made for lunch or even dinner)

 You will learn to:     

  • Read a recipe

  • Use a knife safely to chop and slice vegetables

  • Cook quinoa

  • Cook soft-boiled eggs

  • Cook haloumi

  • Recognise & prepare salad vegetables

  • Explore new flavours e.g. radishes, sauerkraut

  • Identify key safety aspects around the kitchen

  • Follow instructions and work as a team


All classes are held in Jane’s Kitchen, Clayfield and will be run to a Covid Safe Plan.

If a child is keen to participate but is unavailable for the workshop advertised, subject to workshop availability, they can join the same workshop on another day.
