tERM MEXICANA! (by request) WITH A COUPLE OF SPANISH RECIPES - 6 workshops COOKING & exploring the FLAVOURS OF MEXICAN & SPANISH FOOD.
Week 1 (20th July) - Chicken & Black Bean Enchiladas - prepare a tasty filling for tortillas, make enchilada sauce, roll up and cover with cheese! (chicken can be replaced with vegetables and by using GF tortillas, this meal can become vegetarian).
Week 2 (27th July) - Beef Tacos - fill corn taco shells with a tasty beef mince, tomato salsa, lettuce, cheese and guacamole.
Week 3 (3rd August) - Arroz Con Pollo (Spanish Chicken & Rice). Prepare a delicious one pan dish that is full of flavour.
Week 4 (10th August) - Churros, or Mexican Fritters (I think this is why the children wanted to cook Mexican!!) Yes, there will be hot oil, but Jane will demonstrate and supervise one on one. A little platter of fruit will accompany these home - if they get home!

Week 5 (31st August) - Spanish Omelette - this is a very common dish in Spain using only 4 ingredients, including the everyday potato! Popular on a Tapas plate.
Week 6 (7th September - allow 2 hours) - Chicken Quesadillas - easy to prepare and delicious to eat! The Group will also design a Mexican Table Setting then eat together, around Jane’s Table.

All classes are held in Jane’s Kitchen, Clayfield and will be run to a Covid Safe Plan.
