You will make:
Sushi Salad
Salmon Skewers
You will learn to:
Read a recipe
Use and store knives safely
Cook sushi rice
Recognise & prepare salad vegetables
Prepare & cook salmon & thread on skewers
Measure ingredients & make Japanese dressing
Explore new flavours i.e. pickled pink ginger & toasted Nori (seaweed)
Identify key safety aspects around the kitchen
Follow instructions and work as a team
All classes are held in Jane’s Kitchen, Clayfield and will be run to a Covid Safe Plan.
If a child is keen to participate but is unavailable for the workshop advertised, subject to workshop availability, they can join the same workshop on another day.
