CRISPY STIR-FRIED PRAWNS, with Pineapple Salsa / 9-16 yrs

Suitable for 9 – 16 year olds
(1 3/4 hr Workshop) $50

A NZ friend, who is a very good cook, prepared this dish for me a couple of years ago and I thought it was delicious. Thank you Anna!

You will prepare and cook:

  • Crispy Prawn Stir-fry (or pork if allergic to seafood)

  • Pineapple Salsa

 You will learn to:     

  • Read a recipe

  • Identify, weigh and measure ingredients

  • Peel a prawn - that’s right!

  • Use a knife safely to chop and slice vegetables & fruit

  • Identify, prepare & chop fresh herbs

  • Cook as part of a team

  • Take directions regarding hygiene and safety around the oven and kitchen


All classes are held in Jane’s Kitchen, Clayfield and will be run to a Covid Safe Plan.

If a child is keen to participate but is unavailable for the workshop advertised, subject to workshop availability, they can join the same workshop on another day.
